June 6: Doors Open Richmond

Date: Saturday June 6, 10am – 4pm

Location: Richmond Cultural Centre

Quilting, Knitting, Crocheting and Embroidery Displays and Demonstrations

TAGOR is part of a city wide free event Doors Open in which over 40 sites open their doors to the public to enable people to see more of the unique things that happen in Richmond.  There will be displays of quilts and other textile items (knit, crochet, embroidery). You are invited to watch and ask questions as our members demonstrate techniques used to complete our projects.

Location: Textile Arts Room, second floor of the Library/Cultural Centre, 10am-4pm. See the room where we create quilts, knitted, crochetted and embroidered items for our outreach program, family and friends as well as examples and work in progress. Try your hand at arranging blocks for a quilt top.
