About the event: Sew A Story Trunk Show: Turning Quilts and Felt Mats into Toys
Join Jennifer Long as she shares through Zoom how quilts and felt play mats can become interactive toys that encourage imagination, storytelling, and family connection. Through her Be A Quilts and Felt Play Mat Panels, Jennifer will explore how thoughtful design can transform handmade projects into keepsakes that inspire creative play for children and grandchildren alike.

About the presenter:
Jennifer Long is a fabric designer for Riley Blake Designs, author, pattern writer, and the founder of Sew A Story Ltd. With a background in early childhood education and years of experience designing quilts, dolls, and machine embroidery projects, Jennifer is passionate about creating story-filled sewing experiences that bring generations together. She is known for her innovative doll designs, engaging quilt projects, and creative approach to turning handmade projects into meaningful play. Jennifer’s first multi-project quilting and sewing book with David & Charles launches in 2026.
